This group paints, wood burns, and decorates toys for anyone in the club. Sometimes just a touch of paint will enhance a toy.
As well as embellishing, the group makes toys – a castle play set, a forest set, a fishing game …
We’ve expanded our work in the few years to include baby toys – rattles and building blocks, and gifts for teenagers – jewelry boxes with necklaces we make, and treasure boxes with turned pens inside.
Monday mornings is our official meeting time, but members often come in Wednesday and Friday mornings as well.
We ask that toys that come to us to be painted, be sanded and that vehicles come without wheels attached.
